Hurricane Communication Plan
(June 21, 2010) The 2010 Hurricane Season has officially begun in the Greater Gulf Coast area. Therefore, Delta Companies Group has initiated our Company Wide Communication Action Plan for all Customers, Suppliers, and Employees. As such, we have reviewed our Hurricane Contingency Plan with Employees, taken steps to ensure Delta Companies Group is properly prepared for related incidences and initiating communications with our Customers and Suppliers.
This year is expected to be above normal for hurricane activity. This communication is to communicate our operational status when pending storms are threatening the Gulf Coast. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to review your contingency plans with Delta, your family, and others who may be impacted by weather related incidents. Remember, the best emergency plans have clear expectations and communication of activities during times when severe weather is imminent.
Delta Companies is prepared to take necessary precautions to shutdown operations, secure building and property and efficiently evacuate our families in a safe and controlled manner. We will also notify you of any impact to operations and shipping activities prior to and post storm landfall as well as keep you apprised of potential situations as they arise.
